Mihai grecu, was born in 1981 in Romania. After studying art and design in Cluj Napoca, he jas been pursuing his artistic research at the Graduate School of Decorative Art in Strasbourg. Recurring topics such as distress, cloning, hallucination, city life and war articulate the whole of his exploration of mysterious and subconscious beginnings. These visual and poetic trips, mix several techniques and styles may be seen as propositions for a new dream oriented technology.Alternating between video art, cinema, and 3D animation, his unique and disturbing vision shows parasitical objects passing through dehumanizing situations with a background of distorted architecture and symbolic characters. His work is frequently shown at expositions and festivals, and he has won acclaim internationally, such as a prize from the Rotterdam Film Festival.

A parasitic-object is born and invades a body and its environment. The diffuse symbolic system of a hypnotizing femininity and utopian architecture intersect to create the telling of a daydream. Black water, black hair and Indian ink amalgamate in the dreamlike overflow of this vision into unconscious beginnings.

This video tells an odd and unusual story using the element of water as its main protagonist, creating the paradoxical concept of "liquid sculpture".The artist treats the themes of a universe in mutation, and modified perceptions, by showing different
forms of matter behaving in ways that completely distort the perceptions of the viewer. In this sequence of mysterious and abstract play, man and fish serve as sculptures, the last landmarks to behave according to the laws of nature as we know them..
