Luis Nieto born in Columbia in 1979, lives and works in France. In 2005, he graduated from the ENSAD (National High School of Decorative Arts).This young filmmaker has won several prizes in renowned Festivals: Festival des Très Courts (Paris-2006), Imagina Awards (Monte-Carlo-2006), Future Film Festival (Bologne-2006).
He considers himself a "perversionist" artist, who has recently been attacked by animal rights!

Carlitopolis is about a student in plastic arts whose end of the year project is being show to a jury. In the film, a little laboratory mouse called Carlito is used toperform all sorts of experiments. This trivial scenes become absurd and misleading with a mixture of real images and special effects that lead us to doubt the authenticity of the visuals.How does one perceive what is real and what is false?
