Delphine Hallis (born in Switzerland, 1973) lives and works in Paris.In 2001, Hallis graduated from the Lausanne's superior school of art majoring in cinema.Her work borders on essay, documentary, or art films that push the envelope of typical genre films.
She makes a short movie from video extracts and 16mm film entitled, "Strip dog", which has been selected in many festivals. In this way, she's done portraits of artists as Pierre Huyghe, Philippe Favier. She's also accompanied the legendary singer Stephan Eicher in a musical road-movie.

I LIKE TO THINK

Richard Brautigan, a cult poet of the Sixties declames "All watched over by machines of loving grace. While reciting his poem the cybernetic universe turns into a paradise of rhythms and images of a virtual world that has become our reality.
Yet, this reality is an ideal universe governed by machines. The film is a movie-poem and metaphor for a spectacle of the senses.
