Presented in its performance version in 2005 at the Cube,"The eyes of the pilot" is a visual and sound travel video whose origin is a series of 8mm color video films made in the fifties by a French airline pilot, Raymond Lamy while working trans-continental routes.
The video presented here is an extract of the performance realized by Addictive TV with the Parisian guitarist Alejandro de Valera. It was recorded at the Georges Pompidou Center (Paris) in October 2004.
SPORTIVE

"Sportive" dynamically explores movement and sound in a wide range of sports, following the action of the fast and furious sporting forms being sampled, as they evolve into shifting new musical patterns of rhythmic audio and video.
Addictive TV takes over films and advertising images on sport. From those footages, remixed and compiled, they create a video clip with natural sound effects: the breathing, the heart beat, a foot taping, a ball bouncing. A film based on sound rhythms.
It will be aired at the opening concert at the MOCA itinerant exhibition in Shangai "Sport in Art" then till august 2008 in the biggest chinese contemporary art museums..
